The inauguration ceremony of the "meta[β]ole" urban furniture in Mackenzie beach, Larnaca, marked the completion of this fabrication which awarded with the 1st prize at the 1st Pancyprian competition of Digital Design and Fabrication.
The competition's brief aimed to the design and fabrication of an urban structure for the Mackenzie beach which would function as a resting and relaxing point for the citizens and the visitors.
Twenty proposals participated at the competition. Andreas Kyriakou and Fanos Katsaris won the first prize with "meta[β]ole" proposal.
